Everybody wants to get as much out of life as possible. But most people aren’t realizing their dreams. Jesus offers hope. He announced, “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). To experience this for ourselves is, in one sense, as simple as ABC.

A – Accept Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
We need to accept this free gift on our own accord. We cannot accept this gift for any one else. If you admit that you need a Savior then by accepting Him you will have that need meet in your life.

B – Believe Romans 10:13 “For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
We must acknowledge that Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and we must trust Him only for our salvation. Believing something is the foundation for making it your own. Just as medicine is not a remedy until it is taken, so knowing the story of Jesus is not enough to save us. We must personally receive the Lord Jesus Christ.

C – Confess Romans 10:9 “If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.”
It is important that you confess what you have done. Confessing that Jesus is the Lord of their your is very important to close out the decision you have made. To confess our faith is to tell others our belief in Christ. This should be a spontaneous outflow of the change in our heart.

Let Jesus give you a new life right now. Admit your sin. Accept God’s gift. Believe that Jesus is your only hope of salvation. Confess the Lord Jesus. These are the ABCs for the better life. Here is a suggested prayer for you to talk to God about your need for salvation:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I do not deserve eternal life. But, I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in Heaven for me. Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, forgive my sins and save me. I am now placing my trust in You alone for my salvation and I accept your free gift of eternal life.”

If you have trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please let us know. We want to rejoice in what God has done in your life and help you to grow spiritually.
