Bible Study is so important to the life of a follower of Christ. The Bible is God’s Word and it reveals who God is and what He has done and desires of us.  We believe that everyone should read their Bible regularly as an individual but we also believe that it is important to study the Bible within the confines of community.  To study the Bible with others provides many opportunities for you to learn from other’s experiences and perspectives.  It also provides a way of growing in community as you live out what you study in the Bible.

Growth Opportunities for Adults

Because we are committed to community Bible Study we have provided three avenues to experience this community: the first is Sunday School; the second is Large Group Study; and the third is Discipleship small group studies.

Our Sunday School take place every Sunday at 9:00 am.   There are several groups available and we do not regulate who goes to which class.  We encourage you to find the group that best suits you.

Foundation (Single & Married – Young adults and adults with young children)

Joy (Single & Married – Adults in their 30s, 40s and 50s find a home in the class)

Friendship (Single & Married – Adults in their 50s & 60s attend this class)

Fellowship (Single & Married – This is class is where our eldest members attend)

Our Large Group Study takes place every Wednesday starting at 6:45 pm in Sanctuary or Fellowship Hall. Our pastor or lay leaders facilitate studies by guiding a group discussion on the chosen Bible passage(s).  Come join us!

Life Development University (LDU) is a discipleship ministry of Lee’s Chapel where we encourage people in fellowship, support people in being disciples, and equip people in making disciples.  We offer opportunities throughout the year on Sunday or Wednesday nights at 6:45 pm in either a church-wide study of the same topic or multiple small group studies of various topics of interest, all biblically-based and designed to help us grow in our faith and in our likeness to Jesus Christ.  Small groups are encouraged to take what we learn to serve alongside each other as we minister to others.  Join us for the next session of LDU!
